
Last Thanksgiving all the siblings and spouses were in town for Thanksgiving, which was unexpected and wonderful. Adrienne lives in VA, and her husband is in the military; they surprised us by being in town. It was so fun to get to see her pregnant with her first baby. And look how cute the little guys are.
Yesterday, Alex's dad e-mailed asking for copies of this photo shoot from everyone's different cameras. The reason he was trying to find the best shot was because this is the last whole family picture we'll ever have.
You might be thinking that it's too bad that there's that crazy cow in the foreground, kind of messing up the shot. I'm not thinking that though. This cow is one of Hamilton's favorite things at Grandpa Kent's house. You press its hand and it starts dancing and singing a "do-wop" love song. For some reason, that darn cow kept going off during our photo shoot. It was making us laugh so hard, so what we really looked like that day was more like this:

I am grateful that we took the time to take this picture. I am grateful that the memory of taking it is full of laughter.
